Each candlestick is hand crafted by artisans who receive sick pay and paid holidays.

 Artisans cast each piece from recycled aluminium, paint it by hand with two-tone stripes in pink/red, blue, or green shades, and then add gold accents. The enamel finish keeps it strong and looking good. 

 This product adds eco friendly style to your home and makes a thoughtful, sustainable gift. Please note: Every item is skilfully made and unique, resulting in variations in colour and design. These differences are a testament to the beautiful authenticity and character of artisanal crafts. Hand Crafted In India 7 x 7 x 15cm Recycled Aluminium.

Recycled aluminium saves up to 90% carbon emissions compared to the production of new aluminium from bauxite - it also reduces landfill waste! Hand wash only.

Our supplier in Northern India was established in 1992 and has grown to be one of the larger enterprises that Namaste now trades with. Two brothers manage a family business with a total combined workforce of over 150, many of whom are skilled artisans. Over 100 of these employees are permanent workers. The artisans and other workers involved in Namaste production earn a fair wage which is at least equal to or above prevailing local rates. Men and women earn the same pay for the same job; sick pay is provided, plus paid holidays and time off for festivals - an important part of life in India! Your support for these products contributes positively to the local community.
